Cancellation & Reschedule Guidelines

We understand that schedules can change, and adjustments may be needed. To accommodate this, we provide flexibility for clients to cancel or reschedule projects. Clients must notify Nordy Photography of any schedule changes at least 24 hours in advance.

Appointments can be rescheduled or canceled through the client portal if done 24 hours or more in advance. Alternatively, you can reach us by calling or texting our office at (612) 440-0558 or emailing us at office@nordyphoto.com

 

1. Appointments Rescheduled or Canceled with 24+ Hours’ Notice:

  • Reschedules: No fees will be applied. Rescheduled appointments must be completed within 60 days.
  • Cancellations: A refund will be processed within 3 business days and may take 7-10 business days to appear in the client’s bank account.

 

2. Cancellations or Reschedules Made After 3:00 PM CST the Day Before the Shoot:

  • A $100 fee will be applied:
    • Cancellations: The original payment will be refunded, minus the $100 fee. Refunds will be initiated within 3 business days.
    • Reschedules: The $100 fee must be paid upfront before securing a new date. Reschedules are subject to availability and standard rates.

 

3. Same-day/On-Site Cancellations and Reschedules:

  • Same-Day/On-Site Cancellations: Non-refundable.
  • Same-Day/On-Site Reschedules: Non-refundable. Reschedules are subject to availability and new appointments are charged at standard rates

 

4. Same-Day Product Changes:

  • Changes to services or products requested on the same day of the shoot will not be refunded or credited.
  • All changes to services or products must be made the day before the scheduled appointment, during office hours, and before 3:30 PM CST.

If weather conditions prevent us from safely operating a drone, requiring same-day or on-site changes to the scheduled services, the company will provide the following credit to your Nordy account:

  • $25 for the Drone Add-On product
  • $50 for the Drone Standalone product

5. Property Access, Readiness & Delays:

  • Inaccessible Properties: If our photographer is unable to access the property, this will be treated as a same-day/on-site cancellation and rescheduling, and the appointment will be non-refundable. Reschedules are subject to availability and new appointments are charged at standard rates.
  • Unprepared Properties: If the home is not ready upon the photographer’s arrival and a return visit is required, this will be considered a same-day/on-site cancellation and rescheduling, and the same-day/on-site cancellation and rescheduling  fee will apply. Reschedules are subject to availability and new appointments are charged at standard rates.
  • Appointment Delays (30+ Minutes): Appointments delayed by 30 minutes or more will incur a delay fee ($75). Our photographers are required to leave at the scheduled shoot’s end time if they have subsequent appointments. If the shoot cannot be completed due to time constraints caused by the delay, it will be considered a same-day/on-site reschedule, and the same-day/on-site reschedule fee will apply. Reschedules are subject to availability and new appointments are charged at standard rates. The agent assumes full responsibility for any delays.
